What you'll do

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Silverflow team!

Are you curious, eager to learn and excited about software engineering, then this role is for you! You’ll have the opportunity to be a part of our onsite Engineering team, based in Amsterdam, where you’ll grow your technological skills, working alongside our software engineers, product managers and the commercial team by:

Design and deliver high-quality code for new features, bug fixes, and technical improvements.
Embrace engineering excellence by writing clean, testable code, including unit and integration tests.
Actively participate in the full software lifecycle, from design through to production, ensuring our systems meet the highest standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and the commercial team to define requirements and deliver solutions that solve real problems.
Contribute to a strong DevSecOps culture by building practical knowledge in security and infrastructure, using observability to monitor and troubleshoot issues in production.
Engage in continuous learning and knowledge-sharing through proactive code reviews and participation in our agile development rituals.

Who you are

You are an enthusiastic and driven individual who has:

A University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity or demonstrable proficiency with one or more of our core back-end languages: TypeScript and Go.
A collaborative team member who proactively shares knowledge and shows a high sense of ownership.
A pragmatic and disciplined engineer focused on delivering high-quality solutions, continuously refining for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
An innate curiosity and a data-driven mindset, always looking to understand the system deeply and build with security as a fundamental design choice.

As Silverflow is an office-first company, being located in the Netherlands and able to work onsite is required for this role.
