Who is Silverflow?
Silverflow is the world’s first pure cloud-native card-network payment processor. We are on a mission to convince an industry that has run on 40-year-old systems that a better way really exists, scale a high-throughput platform across multiple regulatory regimes, and stay permanently ahead of card scheme changes.
Founded in 2019 by payments veterans Anne Willem de Vries, Paul Buying and Robert Kraal, the company is still led by its creators and backed by venture capitalists.
Silverflow currently consists of 80+ colleagues, representing 30 nationalities, and we’re planning to grow to a team of 120 in the next two years.
What you'll do
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the card scheme and customer-facing projects and integrations within our processing platform. The role is twofold: you will work closely with global card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) to assist in their client-driven projects—ensuring correct configuration, compliance with scheme requirements, and timely implementation of scheme releases. In parallel, you may also coordinate the integration of entirely new card schemes, supporting the process from scoping and certification to production rollout.
This is a cross-functional and technical role requiring project management skills and the ability to interpret and operationalise complex card scheme documentation. An understanding of payment flows is a plus. While you’ll be based in Amsterdam, your work will span globally, coordinating with scheme representatives and internal teams across regions and time zones.
What You’ll Do
Support and manage the relationship with card schemes by preparing updates, collecting information, and follow-up actions.
Manage card scheme-driven project tasks such as preparing BIN setup requests, updating numeric configurations, and supporting compliance-related changes.
Help coordinate bi-annual scheme releases (e.g., Visa/Mastercard mandates) by gathering requirements, updating internal documentation, and supporting teams in prioritising needed changes.
Support senior team members in the integration of new card schemes by handling project tasks, tracking progress, and preparing materials for internal reviews.
Contribute to defining integration scope by gathering input from product and engineering teams and documenting technical considerations.
Plan and coordinate certification, testing, and pilot phases, including scheduling sessions, preparing test scenarios, and tracking results.
Write, refine, and organize user stories related to scheme integration and testing under guidance from senior colleagues.
Review card scheme documentation and summarise key requirements into clear notes, checklists, or action points for the wider team.
